Tyco Thermal Controls offers the full range from simple mechanical thermostats up to multi-circuit control, monitoring and power distribution systems. These systems provide continuous monitoring of temperature, ground fault, operating currents and voltages where a change in levels indicate potential issues in the field.

Distributed Control System for industrial heat-tracing applications -Every heat-tracing application requires an optimized heat-tracing control and monitoring solution. The DigiTrace NGC-30 controller is the first controller launched in the DigiTrace NGC family meeting industrial customers’ demands for an optimized control and monitoring heat-tracing application. Information reflecting the current status and integrity of the heat-tracing circuit can be monitored and communicated to a central location, to the right person at the right time.

Local Thermostats - Local thermostats mostly control the temperature of one single circuit only. Since local thermostats are installed in the field, in close proximity of the application they eliminate the need of expensive Pt 100 field wiring. Local intelligence in the field means that a failure of the control unit affects one heating circuit only. The local thermostats have no communication link back to the supervisory software or DCS system.

The classic Centralized control and monitoring systems -for industrial heat-tracing installations. The systems are typically integrated into engineered control and power distribution panels and offer communication to a central control system (DCS).
