Design Review Process

Design Review Process

The website shows you some of standard products available and is not an exhaustive list of what we have as stock in our business system. If you have a requirement for something not currently part of our product list then we will review this with you and put it through one of 2 ISO 9000 processes as part of our contract review procedures.

A Document Creation / Change Request (DCR) is raised for minor changes to process or input raw materials to produce a similar cable to those already on the standard products list. This has taken as few as 2 days.

A Design Request (DR) is raised for major changes to processing, raw materials or testing that would produce a fundamentally different cable to those in manufacture now. This document traces the process and all parties nessesary to get a final answer are involved. This is inevitably a longer process as we may need to define new methods or supply lines. For complex demands there may be value in giving you direct contact with the technical / manufacturing team to ensure questions and answers are fully understood and evaluated before final commitments.

We have a formally conrtrolled procdure, part of TTC's Quality processes.

The aim is to ensure that all issues are raised and resolved in new cable designs.
