Zero EMI System

 Zero EMI System
Electro-Magnetic Interference on sensitive data communication equipment and computers in offices, hospitals, computer rooms etc., is increasingly becoming a major concern when electrical feeders are routed above, below or adjacent to rooms containing the equipment.

In many instances, even low levels of interference on important data communication systems are unacceptable.

With the huge increase in the use of computers and DC drives over the last decade has come a corresponding growth in harmonic distortion on power supplies. The impact of the increase in harmonics occurs in two areas - increased heating, often leading to increased sizing of the neutral conductor, and - an exacerbated EMI problem.

Conventional solutions do exist in the form of shielding the circuits with magnetic material - however, usually at great cost. Now, there is a unique solution which utilizes the high ampacity/size, ratio of MI and the patented "Zero EMI" system.

The "Zero EMI" system reduces the magnetic field external to the cable to effectively zero. A patented device, called a compensator, injects current into the sheath of the MI cable exactly equal and opposite to the conductor current, thereby nullifying any external magnetic field and effectively eliminating any possibility of interference.
