With more then one hundred engineers and designers on staff Tyco Thermal Controls is the largest engineering organization in the world dedicated to heat tracing.

All service facilities have engineering and design capabilities and regional facilities are electronically connected to our Houston headquarters.

Our engineering capabilities include all aspects of an electric, as well as, circulating fluid (i.e. steam, tepid water, hot oil, glycol) systems. Tyco Thermal Controls provides complete and timely engineering deliverables such as:
  • Isometric detail drawings with heat tracing design parameters and calculations;
  • Typical and project specific installation details;
  • Heat trace control/monitor/distribution panel equipment layouts;
  • Control and power wiring diagrams;
  • Distribution panel board schedules;
  • Nameplate and tagging schedules;
  • Complete project bills of material;
  • Heat trace conduit plans and/or schedules;
  • Heat trace circuit plot plans and/or schedules;
  • Post-construction "as-built" documentation;
  • Comprehensive "operation and maintenance" manuals.
